Comedy Carnival hosts an international stand-up comedy showcase, featuring stars from Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow like Keith Farnan, Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee Michael Odewale, a special guest comedian, and the engaging Phil Dinsdale as the event’s Master of Ceremonies.

Keith Farnan – Renowned for his stint on BBC One’s Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Keith is known for his engaging, witty Irish humor. He has performed globally, from Montreal to Hong Kong, and his Edinburgh Festival shows, blending personal with political, have consistently sold out. In addition to major UK comedy festivals, he has appeared at London’s Soho Theatre and Royal Festival Hall. His TV credits include appearances on Showtime’s Live from Amsterdam, Comedy Central’s Live at The Comedy Store, RTE’s The Social, BBC Three’s Most Annoying People, Dave’s One Night Stand, and RTE’s Money, Money, Money: Keith Farnan versus the Economy.

Michael Odewale – An exceptional young comedian, Michael covers topics from politics to pigeons. Starting his career at university, he was a finalist in the BBC New Comedy Awards and Chortle Student Comedy Awards. Known for his sharp, slick comedy, Michael is a staple in top UK comedy venues. His debut show, “Black Bears Matter,” earned critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Festival, resulting in a Best Newcomer nomination, and won Best New Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival.

Phil Dinsdale – Drawing on his experiences growing up in a tough North East town, Phil is an ex-steel worker whose humour is a unique blend of cynicism, observation and good, old fashioned jokes. His delivery is sharp and honest, covering topical issues and his tangential thought, all exposed to his tongue-in-cheek treatment.
