MICHAEL WALLNER

Meet Michael, a British artist who celebrates urban beauty by capturing the distinctive shapes and vibrant colors of iconic cities like London, New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Paris, Singapore, Miami, and Dubai.

With over two decades in the TV industry, working on various programs, documentaries, and even a children’s novel, Michael’s true passion lies in original and innovative art. He now thrives in South London’s Wimbledon Art Studios.

Michael digitally manipulates his own photographs, often taken while hanging out of helicopters, to create unique pieces on unconventional materials like brushed aluminum, reclaimed wood, brass, vintage windows, neon, magnetic components, and LED lights. His latest work features the River Thames with occasional surprises like a whale or a shopping trolley.

His art has graced prestigious exhibitions worldwide, including The Affordable Art Fair and The Other Art Fair in London, New York, and Los Angeles. He’s also been part of Art For Youth at the Mall Galleries, Discerning Eye, and ‘A River Runs Through It’ at gallery@oxo.

Michael co-founded The V-Art Show, an early adopter of virtual exhibitions during the lockdown era, showcasing art via Zoom.
