THE LEAGUE OF IMPROV with Shappi Khorsandi

Soho’s favourite comedy night, The League of Improv is back at The Century.

Come down and experience London’s funniest improvised night out. Each month features a new guest comedian. In January, we’re thrilled to present the prominent British-Iranian comedian and writer Shappi Khorsandi. Known for her distinctive blend of humour that often reflects her experiences as an immigrant in the UK, Khorsandi’s comedy delves into themes of identity, culture, and politics, offering a unique perspective that resonates with a diverse audience. In addition to her stand-up career, she has authored several books, including the critically acclaimed memoir “A Beginner’s Guide to Acting English”.

Each show features a cast of improvisers from Chicago’s renowned Second City and IO Theatres and from the ‘FA’ The Free Association of London, what can possibly go wrong???

Be prepared for a great night out.

‘Damian and his witty troupe’s near-psychic rapport results in highwire comedy that’s both daring and inventive. I haven’t laughed so much in ages.’ – Suzi Feay, Critic – Financial Times
