THE PSYCHOLOGY OF PSYCHOPATHS with Dr Jonathan Iliff

From con artists, through ruthless social climbers to serial killers, ‘psychopath’ is an increasingly used term in society – and the condition has long fascinated researchers and the public alike. But do we know what it really means?

Dr Jonathan Iliff shines a light on the darkness of this complex and often misunderstood psychological disorder Drawing from his research into history and experience of patients in high security prisons, psychedelic experiments, and under the brain scanner, Jonathan takes us inside the minds of psychopaths. Exploring the biological, psychological and environmental causes of the condition, he asks important questions: can a psychopath ever be cured? Are some people destined to be psychopaths? Can you be a ‘good’ psychopath?
