ECSTASE! A JOURNEY THROUGH SOHO WITH ANNE PIGALLE

As part of the festivities for her Aquarian upcoming birthday, ANNE PIGALLE, also known as The Last Chanteuse from Paris, Madame Sex and even The Queen of Soho, has chosen Century, to bring her original and multi facetted show 'ECSTASE'.

ECSTASE is an interesting mix of live music, poetry, film within a salon setting, that will include the screening of Anne's awarded short film The Soho Connection followed with by a live performance of music and poetry and a conversation where guests are invited to recall their own memories of Soho. Jenny Runacre (Derek Jarman's Jubilee and Pasolini's Canterbury's tales' actress ), and Tony Shrimplin, chairman of the Museum of Soho will also offer their personal stories of innocence and experience . The evening will start at 6.30 with a very French ambiance of mixed sounds as to evoke a forgotten past of the area and will unfold until the Midnight hour with its numerous delights.

Relating to the release of her recent album ECSTASE, Anne Pigalle turns raconteuse. It is the tale of a woman's journey, a riot of self discovery through love and the acquisition of a spiritual ecstasy. And it all ends up in Soho!
