The Century opened to wide acclaim for the millennium as a unique members’ club in the heart of London’s theatreland. Today it is a bastion of tranquillity and inspiration, the perfect place to work, rest, and play.
A short history
The Century, ensconced in the vibrant heart of Soho, is a members club that celebrates the enduring spirit of creativity and innovation.
Founded in 2001, the club quickly gained a reputation as a hub for artists, writers, musicians, and other creatives. Its expansive yet intimate setting created an environment where members could mingle with like-minded individuals and share their work in a supportive, non-judgmental space.
Today, it is a space that embodies the very essence of Soho, where the creative and the curious come together to engage, collaborate, and innovate.
Our Spaces
Set across three buildings in Soho, The Century offers a relaxing environment with lounges, meeting rooms, event spaces, a dining room and excellent food and drink. And its outstanding feature is its roof, whose three terraces offer unparalleled views across the capital with all-year-round access.

- Join former Scotland Yard detective Steven Keogh for a compelling talk that will re-examine the Jack the Ripper murders through the lens of modern policing. Drawing on his book Murder Investigation Team: Jack the Ripper, Keogh will explore how a 21st-century investigation would approach these infamous crimes — from the use of DNA analysis and digital forensics to the ways witness statements, CCTV footage and timelines would be constructed today. By comparing the original 1880s investigation with current investigative techniques, Keogh will highlight how far police work has advanced, while also considering what core principles remain unchanged. Through careful analysis of the evidence, he will offer new insight into the motives and possible identity of the killer, giving a thought-provoking perspective on one of history’s most enduring mysteries. Steve Keogh Steve was a police officer with London's Metropolitan Police for 30 years, with over half of that time spent as a Scotland Yard detective, investigating murder and terrorism. Now retired from the force, his first book allows the reader to step inside the mind of an investigator in a never-before-seen look into what it takes to catch killers and bring them to justice. His second book, Murder Investigation Team: Jack the Ripper, is a fresh, new assessment of the unsolved Whitechapel murders, from a modern-day police expert. His practice interrogates media, perception, and ideology, encouraging viewers to question the familiar and see from new perspectives. Committed to accessibility and inclusion, Jason’s work explores otherness, human behaviour, and the stories we tell ourselves and each other.
